How do I get to the premises?

You must cross a 65-meter suspension bridge to reach the premises.

If you and/or your companions are afraid of heights or have a fear of suspension bridges, we do not recommend the stay.

Crossing the suspension bridge is mandatory; please understand this in advance.

Please note that no alternative means are available.
Contact upon arrival

Upon arrival, please ring the intercom installed at the suspension bridge or call us by phone.

We will come to meet you at the entrance to the suspension bridge.
Is there any procedure before crossing the suspension bridge?

You will be asked to sign a consent form before crossing the suspension bridge.
Where is the parking lot?

There are two parking areas before the suspension bridge, with space for up to six cars.
Where is the reception?

The reception is located beyond the suspension bridge.
Is shuttle service available?

We do not provide shuttle services.

Please come by car or check access details beforehand.

What time is check-in?

Check-in is available from 14:00. The latest check-in time is 19:00.

If you plan to arrive after this time, please contact us in advance.
What time is check-out?

Check-out is by 10:00.

If you need to check out earlier than 9:00, please let us know in advance.
What do I need for check-in?

All guests are required to fill out a registration card.

Foreign nationals must also present their passports.
Can my companions check in before me?

Yes, they can.

What facilities are available at KOTOTOKISS?

The guesthouse accommodates up to 6 people with 2 beds and a Japanese-style room.

It includes a fully equipped kitchen, water dispenser, sauna, BBQ hut, and a space for campfires.
Can I invite non-overnight guests?

We’re sorry, but only registered overnight guests are allowed on the premises.
Is smoking allowed inside the facility?

No, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the entire facility.

Please use the designated smoking area.
Is support available in foreign languages?

While our staff do not speak foreign languages, English manuals and translation apps on smartphones are available for your convenience.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes, we accept the following credit cards:

VISA / MasterCard / American Express

What is the cancellation fee?

・7 to 4 days before check-in: 30% of the total accommodation fee

・3 to 2 days before check-in: 50%

・1 day before check-in: 80%

・Same day cancellation: 100%

・No-show without contact: 100%
What happens in the event of natural disasters or if the suspension bridge is deemed unsafe?

If a typhoon, severe rain, earthquake, or other natural disaster occurs, or if we deem the suspension bridge is unsafe to cross, we may suspend operations.

In such cases, we will give you a full refund.

What cooking utensils are available?

We provide common cooking tools such as frying pans, pots, knives, cutting boards, and cooking chopsticks.
What seasonings are provided?

We provide salt, pepper, black pepper, shichimi (Japanese spice mix), soy sauce, cooking oil, and cooking sake.

Please bring any additional seasonings you may need.
What kinds of tableware are available?

We have glasses, wine glasses, teacups, mugs, plates, soy sauce dispenser, chopsticks, spoons, forks, and more.

Can I borrow a phone charger?

Yes. Chargers are available for iPhone (Lightning), Android (micro USB), and USB Type-C.

Please note that quantities are limited.
Is there a phone in the room?

There is no landline, but a dedicated mobile phone is provided in the room for contacting staff.
Are common medications available?

We do not provide any medicine. If needed, please bring your own.

Can I store my luggage before check-in or after check-out?

Unfortunately, we are unable to store luggage before check-in or after check-out.

Do I need to reserve the sauna or BBQ in advance?

Yes, we recommend booking the sauna and BBQ hut in advance to ensure smooth use.
Are meals provided?

No, meals are not included. Please bring your own food and ingredients.
What are the fees for the campfire and BBQ hut?

・Campfire: ¥3,300

・BBQ Hut Use: ¥4,400

Note: Food is not included, but BBQ equipment and charcoal are provided.
How can I pay for optional activities?

Optional activity fees are paid on-site.

Accepted payment methods: cash or credit card.
Can I stay with pets?

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

Can children accompany?

During the pre-opening period, only guests 18 years and older are allowed.

We are considering accepting children after the grand opening.
